Joanne’s favorite quote is from her days of high school theater. “Life’s a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death”, from the musical Mame. Joanne lives life to the fullest and approaches everything she does with unrivaled passion and determination.
Originally from Queens, NY, Joanne’s parents moved the family to upstate New York when Joanne was 8 years old. She is a graduate of Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, NY and Paul Smith’s College, the “College of the Adirondacks”. Joanne raised her children in Ballston Spa, just outside of Saratoga Springs and currently resides in Glens Falls, a bustling city in the foothills of the Adirondacks.
Joanne’s spent five years, as Vice President and Corporate Real Estate Broker for Select Sotheby’s International Realty. This role provided a great opportunity for Joanne to travel throughout upstate New York, touring some of the most incredible cities, towns and properties New York has to offer. Joanne, now in her new role as an Associate Real Estate Broker for Select Sotheby’s International Realty, is in a unique position to use her extensive knowledge to assist her real estate clients whether buying or selling a home to understand not just the value of real estate throughout upstate but also what each of the regions offers for enjoyment and recreation.
Joanne is also the owner of MySalesDiva, a company designed to drive top line for small to medium businesses that wish to take their company to the next level.
Her passion for cooking is what drives Joanne to write the “Cravings” column for HerLife magazine each month. She enjoys finding new restaurants and telling the HerLife readers of these hidden gems.
Joanne has three adult children, two daughters, Amanda and Stefany and one son, Adam. She is also the proud “Glam Ma” to her grandson, Ivan. Joanne is a skilled networker and enjoys giving back to the community. She has chaired events that have raised over $2 million dollars for capital region charities such as Special Olympics, March of Dimes and Pancreatic Cancer Research.
